I was really impressed by Satin Smooth’s Professional Waxing Kit. It definitely has been one of the best investments I have ever made.

The Satin Smooth Professional Double Wax Warmer

The best part of the package is obviously the double wax warmer. Since different types of wax is needed to deal with the different types of hair and areas of the body, this dual warmer is ideal. You can place the deluxe cream wax (recommended for the bikini area) on one side while putting the Honey wax (used for legs and face) on the other side.

The unit allows for total control so you can heat up only the side containing the wax that you need and at the desired temperature. The Satin Smooth waxes are packaged in a metal container so you actually drop the entire metal container into the warmer instead of pouring the wax into the the wax warmer itself. This also makes it easy to clean up for storage and for switching out different waxes as needed.

MYTH: The Warmer Takes Hours To Heat The Wax
A common misconception on the warmer is that it takes it takes 2 hours for the wax to heat up. This is totally untrue and I am not just saying this to try and convince you to buy this product. I don’t have the time to wait around for 2 hours for my wax to heat up and I am sure neither do you, with that in mind I would never recommend a product that I didn’t stand behind.

My warmer heats my wax up in 30 minutes. Wax can take longer or shorter to heat up, depending on the temperature of the environment where your wax is stored and being heated. Obviously heating your wax up surrounded by 75°F room temperature is going to require less heating time versus warming it up in 60°F conditions.

The products in this kit not only work so well but they also smell good. You really feel like you are getting high quality spa treatment in your own home! The post-depilatory cooling gel is a sort of aloe vera gel that is very soothing to the skin and pairing that up with the post-depilatory moisturizing lotion definitely reduces any inflammation, redness or irritation. In my experiences with using them on my face I never even saw a hint of redness nor was my skin sore. These products are the key to a painless waxing experience.
